Exploring day 2

Exploring day TWO. We are going to see some of your favorites and look at them up close. There might be one with a bull nose.  They might dive, jump, swirl, and just glide with ease. They will be behind a thick glass so they can't get your beloved cheese.

Adventure Day 1

We decided to take a little trip to celebrate Barrett's birthday. I can't believe he is turning two! There was too much Mississippi going on in NOLA with the bowl games plus that's where we took Lawson when he turned two. We decided that an explorers weekend would be exciting for Lawson, so he can live in the day. And we would do Barrett's favorite things or what we'd think he'd like to do! So each day, I had them a clue bag and a rhyme so they could guess what we had plan. This made it exciting for Lawson and Barrett loves anything and repeats everything his brothers says- the night before our trip, we gave them a note that said:

We're going on adventure for you to explore. Three different places that you and your brother will adore. Some places may be cool. Some places may be wet. Kicking off the year of TWO is going to be the best year yet!

Exploring day one. We will have to ride in the car for quite a bit. You TWO can watch some movies so you won't lose your wits. Rest your exploring minds. Today will be lots of fun. Underground we will go and see some natural sights. It won't be too dark; the explorers will have some light.  You might say it's going to rock! We went to Desoto Caverns. It was fabulous. We took an hour long tour, and Lawson learned so much. Barrett really enjoyed it too!

They had a lot of games around the park. The boys played in the beach ball pen. They had ground fans that blew the balls in the air. It was a lot of fun. Lawson did the cave box climb, and both boys mined for gems and dug for crystals. The staff was excellent!

Then dinner at a great brick oven pizzeria and swimming in the warmest indoor pool ever.
